and all on the ice,
not a player was stirring,
The Cup in their sights.

the lockout is past,
A clean slate, a new page
Playoffs here now at last.
16 teams will battle,
But just one will win
the ultimate prize-
and the quest now begins.

Sunday’s Devils-Flyers telecast on NBC received a 1.9 overnight rating nationally. Saturday’s Rangers-Capitals game on NBC, which went head-to-head with Knicks-Heat on ABC, received a 1.5 overnight rating.

2012 Stanley Cup
Hockey. The greatest sport on Earth. Intellectually, aggressively and pace wise…nothing compares to it. Nothing. I spent a long time disliking sports. Football…basketball…bleh. Then hockey came into my life.
In the last few weeks, I’ve seen it enter into the lives of others as well.
The Devils army is increasing.
We are legion.
We are coming.
Tonight.
